Mizugiri Mystery School

Mizugiri Mystery School is composed of two branches of my work: 1.) local Taiwanese storytelling and 2.) holistic healing. Mizugiri originally began as a feng shui consultation and education business in Long Beach, California in 2015. Over the years, with my personal growth, the Mizugiri story has evolved along with me.

Over years of intensively studying holistic healing, history, East Asian language, and spirituality, along with experiencing my own personal growth, around 10 years since its inception, I brought Mizugiri into new shape and form to Tainan, Taiwan, my maternal ancestral home.

The first part of Mizugiri Mystery School deals with local Taiwanese storytelling. My roots run deep through the winding alleys of Tainan, and with much study, both through books and through life, I have become very knowledgeable about Tainan’s local lore, including temple history and Taoist traditions. As a guide to those coming from the outside world to experience Tainan for the first time, I am more than happy to show and tell them about some of Tainan’s most enchanting and historical sites. These conversations, depending on the visitor, can go in the direction of more historical, cultural, linguistic, or metaphysical, all depending on the visitors’ preference.

The second part of Mizugiri Mystery School deals with the healing work that I do, including personal consultations and events. This includes women’s circles, reiki, sound bowl sessions, writing and healing retreats, online coursework and more, as listed in many of this website’s other links.

I am passionate about all aspects of my work, from storytelling to healing and see how the two are intricately linked together, as so much else is in life.
